The Builders and Contractors Associations of Mississippi (BCAM) is the largest workers' compensation insurance Fund of its type in Mississippi. BCAM is endorsed by the Home Builders Association of Mississippi (HBAM) and Mississippi Associated Builders and Contractors (MABC).
Since its inception in 1991, BCAM's goal has been to provide cost effective workers' compensation insurance coverage and sincere attention to the service requirements of its participants.
Good News for Members
The BCAM Board of Trustees has declared its largest dividend/earned premium credit ever in the history of the Fund, in the amount of $7.2 million, effective September 1, 2009, to qualified BCAM members for Fund years ending 2000, 2001, 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006. That is more than $44 million in dividends since our inception in 1991.
Also, effective September 1, 2009, BCAM will decrease policy premium rates on average by -6.2% for all Fund members, as their policies renew.
